The name of the game for research scientists is research grants. The way you advance up the ranks and receive notoriety is to be awarded new grants (they also pay many of the bills). Over the past few years Professor Phil Jones has received more than 13 million British Pounds in research grants (the equivalent of $22.5 million). Which gives Professor Jones strong a incentive to make sure those global temperature numbers keep rising.

Oh,no. Something like this could be construed as an argument against Capitalism and for a form of cashless Communism or Socialism. Just watch, someone somewhere will make the argument.
I wonder how much of this money goes to these guys?. They are typically working for a University and I assume are salaried. But that is a lot of money. Somehow I think a chunk of it must be landing in their bank accounts. Maybe there is a Academic Freeper out there who can enlighten us on what the typical policy is for the dispersal of grant funds.

These “Science Whores” have demeaned the profession by impersonating “Scientists”.
They had a good run there for awhile. Perhaps they could put their talents to Politics as have so many other crooks, and weasels.

Barack Obama will of course attempt to commit the United States to carbon emission reductions at Copenhagen no matter what the evidence says, because he needs to repay his campaign’s sugar daddies, the fat cats who stand to make billions of dollars from trading in carbon credits. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) named Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Chase as principal beneficiaries of cap and trade, along with the Green Exchange and New York Stock Exchange. The former two entities raised six figures each in bundled contributions to help elect Obama. Bundled contributions are entirely legal but this nonetheless shows that Barack Obama’s real loyalty is to the kind of people who can donate $2300 each, as opposed to $5 each (as solicited in his possibly illegal and definitely rigged Internet lotteries) as he is fond of claiming.
These “scientists” are thieves—shysters and grifters. So is Gore. They should be prosecuted and sued.
This is the TRUE definition of a pyramid scheme!!! Cook the books in the sciences and entice the would-be scientists who are greedy to play the game, then they receive their table scraps to fulfill the corrupt wanna-be tyrants who desire and are addicted to greed, power and control of everyone. The pyramid of organized global greed and manipulation is starting to crumble!
I’ve been saying this for years. Without global warming or climate change climatologists are nobody geeks. This nonsense has put them in the spotlight and transformed them into sexy rock stars. They have a very strong interest in the foolishness: their egos and wallets.
