It is Thursday, December 03, 2009, and as I write these words, Bobby Wayne Woods is alive. If you are reading this on December 4, 2009 or later, there is a strong likelihood that he will no longer be so, having been executed by the State of Texas for a grisly murder he committed in 1997.
Wow, what a weird post. When I went to work today, he was alive, and when I came home, he was dead.
I feel tempted to dig up the old rabbit with a pancake on his head.
“Is Bobby Wayne Woods too Stupid to be Executed?”
His intelligence isn’t a factor for me. Nor his age, race, family history, tough life, gender or any of that.
Some people need killin’.
My problem with the death penalty is that I don’t trust the legal system to filter those who should be subject to the death penalty from the rest.
When Bill Clinton was first running for POTUS he signed an execution warrant. That prisoner tried to kill humself and blew off a chunk of his brain before they arrested him so he was pretty imbecilic. Anyway, they gave him his last meal then took him to the death chamber and executed him.
When they went back later to clear out his cell they found that he had hidden a piece of pie under his bunk, so he would have something to eat when he came back.
if i hit you is it bad?? yes or no
if i hit you is it wrong??? yes no
is what you did bad and wrong??? yes or no? then hang him
“Is he too dumb to execute?”
Plug him in and find out.
