Switzerland has 4 national languages but most are well versed in English as well no matter the other dialect depending upon the area they commonly use.
The Swiss have the ability to defend themselves, maybe that's why they weren't afraid of banning minarets. Usually muzzies won't attack armed people directly. .

So you think their use of English is what helps them? (Because I say they have remained free for a long time, but have only widely spoken English for a short time, historically speaking)
Before they speak good English, most would speak one of the other of their three main languages.

Yes they do. In fact, up until recently, it’s basically their official national policy to allow uncontrolled migration into their country. Foreign residents and temporary workers make up about a quarter of their population.

Actually the Swiss may be the first in Europe to defy pro-muzzie P.C. and survive afterward. The harrumphing and tut-tutting of the EC and the threats of the Muslim Brotherhood really won’t bother them. IMHO, the Swiss gun culture confers an attitude of defiance against the `waves of the future’ upon its citzens.
Pray to G-d that the American gun culture does the same for us.

As for spoken languages, post #4 covers that well.
But beyond, there do have some other unifying language:
1. the language of commerce
2. the language of national integrity
3. the language of self defense
They like their country and are ready to defend it.

That is actually Switzerland. I love their gun control laws. They assign everyone a gun and teach you how to control your aim. Every citizen is by default, a member of their national militia and trained thusly.
