That hack against the Duncan Hunter was that after 30 years in congress NOBODY knew who he was. I think Hunter easily had the best conservative credentials. But if you’ve been “LEADING” the conservative fight for 30 years and I don’t even know your name, there is something wrong. Your attacks on Fred Thompson (A great conservative) were LEGEND on the FR.
And now, you’re at it again, you just haven’t reached the screaming, fever pitch that you were at during the last campaign.

And FWIW, every single thing I said about Fred was true. Now if you want to claim he’s a great conservative now, that is one thing. But his record was quite iffy, and I don’t mean McCain-Fiengold-Thompson.
