Seems to me that an objective journalist should approach the people in power and put pressure on them. "Are you doing the right thing? Are you making the right decisions?" When Bush was in office, that's what Matt Lauer (and so many others) did. I could complain about how they did it, but in essence, that's appropriate for a journalist.
Now Obama is in power. What is Matt Lauer doing? He's still putting opressure on the Bush Administration and asking "Did you do the right thing? Did you make the right decisions?"
Since he's still attacking the Republicans, while the Democrats hold all the power, there is no question that he's a Liberal activist pushing the Democrat agenda.

Didn't Harry Truman curse Roosevelt for forcing him to make a choice on using the nuclear option against Japan? Wasn't he overheard saying, "Damn that cripple for starting a war and making me clean it up!"?
Of course he didn't, and that's one thing that separates men from boys, leaders from followers--the ability to step up to the plate and take on problems without making excuses for failure.

Matt Lauer is nothing more than an overpaid for NBC, a network that is literally in bed with Obama and the liberal left.
Fear not, folks!!! Jeffrey Immelt (GE) is trying to dump NBC as fast as he can. Immelt might not be saying it, but he knows POTUS Obama is flushing down the toilet, and he does not want to go with him!!! But, alas, Jeffrey you too are toast. Reminds me of the famous great flick “Animal House” where “Flounder” says to Bluto (John Belishi)”you ruined and wrecked my brother’s car!!!! He’s gonna kill me!!!”. And....Bluto says back with a sarcastic smile, “You screwed up, Flounder, you trusted us!!!” Sounds like Immelt got sucked in by “empty suit” Obama, just like “Flounder”!!!
I see nothing wrong with asking those type of questions as long as Rove is allowed to respond —just wish Lauer would ask the tough questions when an Obamite is getting interviewed
If fact by asking them it precludes the administration from taking that tact since it will have been rebutted by Rove’s detailing Obama’s failure in the senate and by showing a plan was passed on to him by Bush
