A friend of mine sent me this story of his time in the Marine Corps. Read through to the end, it’s a shocker.
What strikes me most is what he said as to where he grew up: Indonesia. He told me he wanted to be President of the US someday. I remember lightly smiling and commenting that maybe by the time he gets to be 40 or so, America will be ready for a Black man to be President and I wished him luck. We spoke of the racial tensions I saw at home while growing up and I asked him if he ever saw that overseas or since he returned back to Hawaii. I don’t remember his answer, but we spoke more of his time overseas and his thoughts on life and philosophy of government. He made some strange comments to me, it was obvious he never set foot for any time in the continental United States and I told him he better realize that he is making judgments about the United States when he himself never actually lived there. I told him, “Hawaii aint the United States!”
He also told me something that I never forgot, for it caused me to do some other things in an effort to be nice to him and possibly a favor. We spoke of where I had been and the world as I saw it. I told him I had been to Africa , Mombassa specifically, and he said to me abruptly, “I was born there”. I told him he is not eligible to be president if that was true, but I remembered he said his mom was an American, so, maybe it was okay.

What you need is an indipendent source confirming that Maganga was CA (not that Ghent University has 2 admins !). You searched, searched searched and found out that the University of Ghent in Belgium has 2 Admins. Go tell that to a judge.

You might want to point out next time you cite this story that this young man that you have plastered the picture of did receive a kidney (for free) from a woman from Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2004.
The young man lived until 2008 when he passes away from related health problems.
You should research your claims before you around the Internet claiming that someone has no character.

My Comment on these two questions by Mik Taerg:
What is, and has been confusing to me, is why you question Lucas Smith about these items?
Lucas Smith went to Kenya and got this document, he did not engineer what was put on, stamped, or printed on the document. He got a certified copy, paid off a cop to look the other way when he got it, and left. He then turned it over to the court system, and submitted an affidavit to the courts concerning how he got it, and that it was genuine.
He did not control any of the items your questioning him about, and it serves no purpose other than to misdirect the fact that it is either fake or real, and you will not make that determination, the courts will. Lucas has encouraged the courts to do just that. Not the sign of somebody who is lying, to the contrary, someone who is telling the truth. Second, he did not have to submit it to the courts or supply an affidavit to the courts of its authenticity, and in fact to do so, would be a fraud to the federal govt and probably cause him a lot of trouble.
Rather than bicker endlessly, and yes I have quietly read this ad naseum, why not push for government authentication and end it, one way or another. I have suggested this several times, forensic analysis by a court appointed, or nationally know analyst would put the question to bed concerning authenticity, and just might open doors to actually get something accomplished....JMO

Lucas Smith of Cedar Rapids has surfaced, then disappeared, again, this time on the fringe of the fringe world of Obama birthers.
Smith recently claimed to have a birth certificate proving President Barack Obama was born in Kenya. That’s according to a July 19 post at Worldnet Daily, the conservative Web site that’s become a clearinghouse for theorists’ claims that Obama is constitutionally unqualified to be president.
According to the post, someone claiming to be Lucas Smith , “a former resident of Cedar Rapids,” tried to auction a Kenyan birth certificate for Obama on eBay. But when Worldnet tried to verify the document, Smith dropped out of contact, “only fueling belief the sale was a scam.”
Smith, whoever he is, gained local notice in 2003, when someone by that name agreed to sell a kidney to an Oswego, N.Y., man who needed a transplant, The deal broke down when Smith demanded $600 upfront from the man’s family.
A police investigation failed to locate Smith, or any evidence that he was in the area — or whether his aborted attempt to sell a kidney was illegal.
Online court records say Lucas D. Smith, now 29, was convicted in Linn County of forgery in May 1998 and second-degree theft in May 2000. He was released from prison Dec. 25, 2002, the Department of Corrections says.

That was a civil post Lucas. You say I should question Obama and not you. There are many people questioning Obama. I have absolutely no problem with them. Questioning Lucas and questioning Obama are not alternatives, they are two different things. Your birth certificate presents some flaws I believe you must explain:
1 - According to the Kenyan press Othigo and not Maganga was CA of CPGH on Feb 19th 2009
2 - your said you travelled to Kenya in “Spring” which is after the date you supposedly collected the document
3 - Maganga’s name is misspelled.
Your last line of defense doesn’t make sense. You are saying
“hey, I was there, I got the bc, it’s not my fault if kenyan journalists are sloppy and mention Othigo as CA”.
No Lucas you can’t do this. And you need to understand that given what Kenyan sources say doubt is more than justified.

As a result he is subject to his submissions, both in physical evidence, and statements. It is not open to your specious conclusions or harassement.

No ones denies that I was in prison for three years. All of 2000(January 27th), 2001, 2002 discharged (December 25th).
In case you haven’t put it together yet, that prison sentence was BEFORE the kidney news article.
Again, who sells a kidney for $600? Not even in India or Bangladesh.
Who would go through several months of testing to earn $600?
And again, why do you NOT make attention of that fact that this young man was given a kidney (for FREE) from a woman in Cedar Rapids, Iowa (my hometown is Cedar Rapids).
The young man died 4 years later in 2008.
Again, get your story straight.

What exactly is your goal?
It cannot be to discredit the document, as it is already submitted to the court system.
It is not his statement as to its authenticity, and how he got it, as it is also submitted to the state.
Proving anything further to you or any non-judicial person who will weigh the merits of the evidence is fruitless.
After the fact, it does not matter what he has done, is doing, or will do, what he thought, is thinking, or will think after submission of the evidence to the courts.
The evidence is either genuine or is not, and the courts, if they think it has merit, will investigate or will not, you have nothing to say about it.
So what exactly is your point? What is your goal, and what value do your efforts have at this point.

Do you have documentation to refute these claims; email sent in late 2002 (around the time you were paroled?), email sent May 3, 2003 asking for compensation; subsequent disappearance?
Note the date of the email, June 13, 2003, from Diane Langton, who offered her kidney free of charge. How does that fit in your timetable?

Nearly four years has passed since a stranger gave Jim Wilson Jr. a kidney and saved his life.
When he died Monday, his kidney was still functioning.
Kathleen Wilson said her son thought he was coming down with the flu and had been lying down most of the day.
“He didn't feel good,” she said Tuesday.
Things turned for the worse.
Jim Wilson Sr. went to call 911 and their son went into cardiac arrest, Kathleen Wilson said.
James J. Wilson was 25.
“He lived every minute of every day,” his father said.
Jim Jr. was born with one kidney . It kept him going for the first 18 years of his life. He rarely missed school, and even felt fine the day a school nurse took his blood pressure and realized something was wrong. Go see a doctor, she told him. Right away.
Over three years, while his family searched for a donor, Jim Jr.’s condition worsened to the point he needed daily dialysis.
Jim Jr. was put on the national kidney transplant list in November 2001, five months after doctors diagnosed him with end stage renal disease.
Today, there are 147 people waiting for either a kidney or a kidney and pancreas transplant at University Hospital in Syracuse, said Laura Squadrito, director of programs at the National Kidney Foundation of Central New York.
The Wilsons, who live in Oswego, did what they could to speed up the process. A family friend started a Web site and Jim Wilson Sr. hung several hundred posters in stores, banks and other places, asking someone to donate a kidney to save his son's life.
In late 2002, a man from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, sent an e-mail to the family. The man, who called himself Lucas Smith , said he was 23 years old and had emigrated from Russia five years earlier. He had seen the Web site and, Smith said, he wanted to help.
The Wilsons stopped searching for a donor. Smith passed all of the medical, physical and psychological tests. They thought he was going to save their son's life.
Then, on May 3, 2003, Smith sent Jim Wilson Sr. an e-mail saying he wanted to be compensated for donating his kidney .
Wilson said they would pay his airfare, but because it was illegal to receive money for an organ donation, they wouldn't give him any other cash.
Five months after holding out a lifeline, Lucas Smith disappeared.
Jim Wilson Sr. called the Cedar Rapids police.
On June 13, 2003, Diane Langton e-mailed the Wilsons. She had read about what happened and wanted to help.

This thread isn’t about selling kidneys. It’s about Obama and his having been born in Kenya and subsequently being ineligible to hold Office of US President. Instead of attacking the document there are some people that attack the with kidney story.
There is no “email” that you refer to. This was an online story, there is only a mention of an email. There never was such a thing.
Long story short. The young man (19 at the time) DID RECEIVE a kidney in 2004 from a donator in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The young man lived another 4 years with this kidney. He probably would have died before that if it wasn’t for the kidney he received in Cedar Rapids.
How many times do I have to repeat that I have NEVER been questioned by police of FBI about this???? Never went to jail or prison for this. The Wilson story was a fake, a desperate call for help! And it worked. A Cedar Rapids woman came forward and saved his life with her kidney.
Notice that the online articles stated that Lucas Smith was a Russian that had only been in the US for 5 years? What, do you think I put my best Russian accent on and fooled a team or doctors?
And all for $600??? Several months of testing for $600. What, do you want me to believe that was supposed to be a “deposit”, $600? Give me a break.
The police, the FBI and the US Attorney knows that the Wilson’s story didn’t add up. It was a publicity stunt to save their sons life, AND IT WORKED.
And I haven’t been ‘hiding” for the last 6 years. I’m in plain sight, the FBI could have arrested my at anytime.
