You're looking at one guy who isn't impressed with the presumed wisdom of the Pompous Punditry Establishment. Right now, that power-pack is going bonkers speculating whether Sarah Palin will ever be president or not. No one knows and why is it a priority when the country is plunging down the tubes? The more relevant question is will anyone want to be president in 2012?
Sarah's a phenomenon. Some adore her; some despise her. All but the most vehement haters agree she's a force to be reckoned with in some way or another. The "how" is the bigger question.
To obsess about her chances for the presidency, it seems to me, is to overlook the fact she could have an enormous -- even transforming -- impact on our politics and government without ever going near the White House.

She is, and will be, a force for good and freedom in America no matter what she decides to pursue. Something the radical socialist anti-American mob are very fearful of.
But what I'm certain of is that somebody needs to put the brakes on the freight-train that has been launched by the Democrats and, with Obama's foot firmly on the accelerator, is sending this country into a future burdened with debt and taxed beyond all reason. Look around and tell me who among the politicians is willing and able to slow down that train and turn it around. There is only one that I know of and that person happens to be woman. She can't speak like Obama, write like Krauthammer or call up the experience of Cheney but she has the will, the philosophy, and the moral strength to stop that train and turn it back.
This country needs Sarah Palin.
palin 2012 or bust. democrat lite just don’t cut it anymore. The problem is too large and require extreme measures to fix
the attraction of palin is her governing style. Non-corruptible and honest. She stood against corruption in her own party. She cut wasteful government spending and many more

Obama speaks well from a teleprompter to a kneepad media.
Krauthammer is pro-abortion and some gun control
Cheney is ok except for his personal homosexual marriage stand
I am not aware of any chink in Sarah yet and she delivers incredible speeches. have you seen them? and unlike Obama she has actually done things.
Getting saddled with McCain got her catapulted onto the national stage where she belongs. Unfortunately the McCain camp was a viper's nest of a vehicle for her managed by folks whom like some freepers despise social conservative with faith and rural accents.
If you want slick talkers go to a car lot.
if you need good writers then try a library.
Sometimes character rises above all of that. If it didn't we woulda missed Washington and Reagan for sure.

There is so much work to do. There is so much crap to be cleaned up. Someone has to run against the Incompetent One. Throw out the Healthcare proposal and do it soon! Toss off global warming and Cap and Trade. Renew the moral basis for American power. Get us out of wars we do not intend to actually win. Keep us out of wars that are not in Americas best interest. Rein in spending. Prosecute the spreading corruption. Restore E Pluribus Unum. Get us back to one English language. Restore the integrity of our borders. Fix the immigration laws. Cut taxes and restore economic growth. Give responsibility for education back to the states where it belongs. Fire the czars. Start drilling and pumping our own oil. Get the money supply under control.

This piece is weak. Very weak. It posits Wilkie as a positive roll model for Palin on the grounds that Wilkie helped “shape events” in a major way.
But how did he do that? By the author’s own admission his principle role was AGREEING WITH THE DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT.
So how will Sarah follow in Wilkie’s footsteps. Which of Obama’s horror-policies will she AGREE WITH and thus “shape events in a major way”.
What a bunch of crap.
We NEED President Palin in 2012.
If we don’t get her, we’re up sh1t creek without a paddle.
Well said, and her greatest asset is the faith and core values that have guided her all throughout her life. When you are guided by principles rather than teleprompteers, you never have to think about what your nuanced position is on an issue, or keep your own lies straight. You just speak the truth, from the heart.
Great presidents are great because of WHO they are, the kind of person they are, rather than what’s on their resume. Look at Teddy Roosevelt, for example, a man who was probably a certified genius, but who is know for his ruggedness, his love of nature and the outdoors, and for speaking softly but carrying a big stick. Sarah Palin has the qualities that could enable her to become a great president, should she seek to go that route.
You know, that is the best idea for potential conservative candidates that anyone has put forth!
Any candidate who truly wants to put America back on a path of liberty and prosperity will find no better speech material than can be found online in the speeches and writings of America's Founders.
There is no clearer explanation of the ideas of liberty than those to be found in the words of Jefferson, Adams, Washington, and others, and they didn't mince words about the consequences of high taxes, big spending, debt, judicial activism, paper money, and a society ignorant of the threats these things present.
Speech writers trained in colleges and universities dominated by Far Left Professors and Administrators are not likely to produce words to restore America's foundations.
Try these:
"Still one thing more, fellow-citizens - a wise and frugal Government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government, and this is necessary to close the circle of our felicities." - Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural
"These principles form the bright constellation which has gone before us and guided our steps through an age of revolution and reformation. The wisdom of our sages and the blood of our heroes have been devoted to their attainment. They should be the creed of our political faith, the text of civic instruction, the touchstone by which to try the services of those we trust; and should we wander from them in moments of error or of alarm, let us hasten to retrace our steps and to regain the road which alone leads to peace, liberty, and safety." - Thomas Jefferson (First Inaugural)
Sarah Palin needs to start (if she hasn’t done so already) a Movement within the ranks of the GOP—The Reform Republicans or the Reagan Republicans. This group should resolve to transform the party back to her roots and in the process end corruption. Its got to be a Contract with America on Steroids. The only big tent we need is a conservative one. But we must win over the nation to the Cause. She can’t do it alone—she needs a committee or band of helpers to come from all walks of life—the rich (Think Trump/Forbes) The Religious Right (Think Billy Graham) Entertainment (Think Jon Voight and Kelsy Gramer) The Radio world (Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh) and music. This movement should work from the bottom up to transform the GOP into what it once was. If they can’t—then its 3rd Party time.
We've got plenty of good talk show hosts. What we need is a good presidential candidate.
If Sarah doesn't run for the nomination, in my view she becomes more of a yawn.
It is really simple. The liberals think Obama is their messiah. Their one and true God.
conservatives think of Palin as their Moses to lead them. and like the pharaohs could not stand Moses, the liberals can not stand Palin and work to keep their voters enslaved to the false religion of liberalism.
One group is praying to the golden calf. The other is waiting Moses to come down and led them.
Am I saying that either are these things? No but the “feelings” that the two conjure in their supporters are the same.
Palin will be inaugurated on January 20, 2012! Obama is seeing to that.
I think you mean 2013, but I still disagree.
Finally getting around to watching Greta Van Sustren’s Sarah Palin interview.
Sarah Rocks!
