1. She is a woman and we've never had a woman president! Of course, before our current president, we've never had a black president either; but that's different.

2. She's pro-abortion, and even late-term abortion! No, wait - I believe that's someone currently in the office who holds those views.

3. Does she have something to hide? I wonder, since we can't seem to find out anything about her grades and her accomplishments while attending college! Oh boy, I'm wrong again! I believe that's also someone currently in office that I'm thinking about.

4. She doesn't have the background or experience necessary for the job. She wasn't tutored in politics by the Chicago machine, and she certainly can't organize like someone who can cut their teeth as a community organizer and lawyer for A.C.O.R.N.

You have said the following things in this thread.

• Quit does not equal leader. Unless you are brainwashed.

• Grow up, there is a stigma to quitters and it needs to be addressed now.

• I don’t want another loser to default dem. She quit. what can I say?

• I like her. I voted for her. The blind ones on this thread are the people who cannot acknowledge the ‘quitters’. Flame me for speaking reality, but she quit. It upset me.

• The biggest problem IMO is she quit. Done deal. No go after that. I like her and will vote for her but it did happen.

Can you detect something common in all of these posts? Its the position you are proposing to defend without any support against a mountain of evidence that shows what she did was wheel and face the real enemy and pour on the fire. And she has with joy, subtlety, and incredible support and satisfaction of her supporters.

Sarah is like Patton when he turned the 3rd Army and smashed into the Ardennes to relieve Bastogne. He quit fighting the remnants of the German army ahead of him because there was a more important battle to fight on his flank.

Sarah is our Patton and ObamaCare is the great offensive of the Socialist left to destroy freedom in the United States. If this battle was lost, what would be the point of finishing a lameduck session as Governor of Alaska so her resume would look good? Huh? She quit once before, when she was the Chief Commissioner of the Alaskan Oil Commission because it was a corrupt mess and the only way to fight it was from outside. She is willing to do the right thing even if folks with small minds don't get it.

I hope this is enough to understand why you were completely off base with your multiple rants about her "quitting."

You owe her a debt of thanks for putting aside her comfort and coming to our rescue.

You see, this isn't your opinion. Its Krauthammers opinion, and Frum's, and Noonan's and on and on... All espousing conventional "wisdom" while completely perhaps intentionally misunderstanding what she is up to.

Sarah doesn't play "Good Old Boy" and resume padding is essential to winning the game of "Good old Boy."

The game GOB and GOP used to be the same.. but now they are not. Read "Going Rogue" then you will understand. You will say oh.. thats it and understand how Sarah does politics.

If Sarah Palin is elected President, she will have the power and mandate to clean house just as she did in Alaska. She is attempting to keep the focus on 2010 where all freedom loving Americans must focus for now. 2012 will keep care of itself.

She left some one in the position and presented a moving target while egressing to high ground. Doing so took the heat off Alaska and gave her the advantage. This, more than any thing else , convinces me that she can handle the position (POTUS) superbly. She maneuvered for advantage, she did not quit.
