--Open this chart in another window

--On the "x-axis" find "MAY"

--Follow "May" up to the color for 2009

Now, did you notice? Good for you, that's right! May 2009 had the most square kilometers of ice in the past 8 years.

Now tell your friends, and show them how to read a cartesian chart.
