Also, he claims to be using correlation to compare his results to the original results for Norwich. If, by correlation, he's referring to 'r' (correlation coefficient), then he's off base.

Correlation merely tells you how well one set of numbers predicts another set of numbers. It tells you NOTHING about how they coincide.

For example, assume the original Norwich numbers (whatever they represent) were 1,3,5,7,9. Assume he re-ran the reconstructed code and got 1, 3, 5, 7, 9. The 'r' would be 1. Assume he re-ran the reconstructed code and got 0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5. The 'r' would still be 1.
