When Saturday Night Live turns on a liberal president, you know he's in trouble. Also - Two of the most deceitful partisans On MSNBC are Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews. They constantly slime and attack conservatives while putting positive spins on everything and anything liberal politicians do. Along with the SNL skit, this dialogue from Chris Matthews seemed especially significant. Obama is even losing some who have been most committed to him.

Time to go to the library and do some of YOUR OWN research on the facts!!!
Who are these clowns and show biz losers to tell Americans how/what to think.... enough!!!!
We now live in a society where Jon Stewart is considered a news show.
Even a left wing hack like Matthews and his tingling leg does have a survival instinct that kicks in. Even they can eventually realize that Obama is such a lightweight, and so bad for this nation, that they will occasionally criticize him just to hang on to what little credibility they might have left.
They more we see these leftist, MSM hacks turn on Obama to whatever extent, the more trouble he will be in politically.
I agree. I really believe a good chunk of the Bush hatred was the “me too” factor.
I understand what youre saying however, many Americans have and will continue to their cues from pop culture and at least pop culture is finally taking stabs at him.
In the article, Matthews refers to Obama as being “Carteresque”. Now for those of us in the real world that is an outright slam; but remember, Chris Matthews was a speech writer Jimmy Carter and thinks he was the best president ever.
Popular ‘culture’ is vomit!
I don't think that's what Matthews meant by "Carteresque" in his remarks on his Sunday show.
Is the Obama White House sending some Carteresque signals these days? Some see that in the deep bow to the Emperor of Japan, an unforced error say critics. Then there was, there was what happened in China: Obama got nothing in the way of concessions over there in spite of playing the polite visitor. And his effort to speak directly to the Chinese was jammed by the government. Third, that decision to try the terrorists up in that federal court in New York City. Again, nothing that had to be done, and critics say it shows that Obama, his team doesn't understand this is a war we're in. David, that's the question.
Matthews is trying to preserve a little credibility for himself in raising those questions, now that some of Obama's weaknesses and dumb decisions have become undeniable to most everyone.
“Popular culture is vomit!”
I guess some other poster must have had the PANTS screen name.
"Will you kiss me?"
"While you are here will you take me out to dinner and a movie?"
"Do I look like Mrs. Obama?"
It was an indicator of what we all knew. Obama is worse than incompetent. In a sane world, he couldn't get elected Town Dunk.
Fine, go ahead and watch all the Laverne and Shirley re-runs you want, subscribe to ‘People’ magazine while you are at it and make sure you go to all the most recent HOLLYWIERD movies you can...
Is American popular culture THAT appealing to YOU?? I mean... just asking a simple and honest question here. You don’t have to cop an attitude!!
Wow, Chris Matthews said that? I think my head is starting to tingle.

Really intelligent people usually don’t have to point at themselves. Others can usually figure it out. Condescension is also unbecoming. Lastly, you have no idea who you address on this forum, and that is certainly true of me, unless, of course, you have hacked my computer. That would take real intellect, but you’re sure you could do it.
I don’t know what is bugging you but get off my back!
