Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO) lays it on the line:
[see video]
He doesnt care what his constituents want, hes going to toe the Democrat line, even if it means he loses his job in 2010.
That said, I have to admire Sen. Bennet; at least he has the courage of his (partys) convictions, and is willing to say so, with no ambiguity or equivocation. Asked a direct yes-or-no question, he simply answers No. We could wish for that same simplicity from the rest of our elected officials...

yep, sometimes I’d almost rather have a Democrat who is at least honest about what they are going to do and why than a stinkin’ RINO.
Actually in the video he says “Yes.” He is asked if he’d support healthcare even if it would cost him his ‘job’, he says “yes”.
Coloradorans, get behind a solid conservative now, start getting your CO GOP on board backing that person now, so you don’t have to have a NY23 of your own, and then start letting us know so that we’ll know who needs some external support.
>> Just how serious are the people of Colorado about Obamacare?
Considering that a large number of them are California liberal transplants...
This is typical Bennet. It’s the first time he has taken more than a squishy stance for or against anything. He knows he doesn’t have a prayer in hell of getting elected (not re-elected, because he was appointed by Governor Ritter, to the astonishment of the Democrats.)
This is Bennet Bravado, to give him cover for his predictable election loss. (If he even has the nerve to run.) Nobody in Colorado knows what Bennet stands for, including Bennet.
Shoot! Thanks for the catch, it’s now fixed.
What did Rush call them: Suicide Senators? Drive by legislators?
