The important thing about RINOs is that they caucus with Republicans. They will put conservatives in the committee chairs, even if they are not conservatives themselves. Then no Democrat-sponsered legislation will reach the floor.
So we get some less RINOey RINOs. And then what? The “conservatives” deliver more pork, more kick-backs, more subsidies, more regulations, more welfare, more unelected government bureaucrats, more spineless political correctitude, more illegals, and more dead babies.
These status quo politics will continue unabated until the Soros Media gins-up the entitlement-addled retards for the next wave of social and financial disaster in the name of “progress.”
But hey, at least we “won.”
I don’t mind RINOs voting Republican, but they should never be in policy making positions or in charge of anything other than their own vote.
This is utter bravo-sierra.
A RINO is a politician who claims to be conservative enough to be a "good republican", but governs the exact opposite way. Think Scozzafava. Think McCain (re: campaign finance reform and the 1st amendment).
The whole premise of this article is obfuscating the issue. A conservative politician from Massachussetts will not hold the exact same views as a conservative from Texas.
But a RINO from either state will suck up conservative money, mouth conservative platitudes, and still vote for liberal positions every danged time.
