An Open Letter to the Liberal Mainstream Media about the terrorist attack on Ft.Hood

So, as I sit here writing this, my mind is reeling and my heart is beating too fast. I'm ANGRY and outraged, and just....SO ANGRY.

One short week ago, Major Nidal Hasan, a pyschiatrist in the United States Army, walked into the deployment center at Ft.Hood armed with a 9mm pistol, and a F-N semi-automatic handgun. He walked into a center full of military personnel who were NOT allowed to carry a gun on the base and were unarmed. As they were being examined by dentists and opthamologists, and guided through the onerous paperwork that is necessary to deploying, this guy stalked through that facility, walking straight up to these soldiers, calmly and deliberately shooting them in the head, limbs, and torso. When he wasn't sure that he had killed them, he stood directly above them and repeatedly shot them as they writhed in pain and fear on the floor. His only show of emotion was manifested in his shouting "Allahu Akbar", the Muslim jihadist war cry glorifying their god, literally translated as "god is great!". These very words are traditionally shouted by muslims as they murder and kill anyone who doesn't share their radical ideology in the effort to reach the 70 virgins that they believe are awaiting them in paradise after they have been "gloriously martyred". (Their words, not mine)

Eyewitness accounts corroborate the above listed facts. There were many warning signs that forewarned of this terrorist attack happening, but they were ignored by the government and the military, out of politically correct expedience. Revealed in the investigation into this man's life? E-mails that Hasan sent an Al Qu'aida cleric and imam of one of his previous mosques. Repeated tirades about Muslims rising up against the U.S. that he made to fellow officers and soldiers in the months prior to this scene. A lecture that he gave to peers at his prior workplace about how muslims should not kill other muslims. Get this: a business card that he had printed up with the initals "S.o.A", below his name....referring to himself as a "Soldier of Allah". All these bits and pieces soldered together clearly illustrate Nidal Hasan as an openly antagonistic radical Muslim, who expressed his jihadist beliefs one final way on that fateful day that he murdered over a dozen soldiers. Holistically and INCONTROVERTIBLY all these facts, and many others not mentioned here, fully substantiate that this was a Jihadist terrorist attack on American soil. It is certain, my friends, that Nidal Hasan chose to murder THESE very soldiers who were DIRECTLY deploying within days and months - in the effort to KILL THEM BEFORE THEY KILLED HIS FELLOW MUSLIM JIHADISTS. Anyone and everyone who was even HALF informed about this episode would still fully understand this guys' motivation.

Right? WRONG.

In the immediate hours and days following after, the mainstream media began its grotesque dance of liberal apologetics. Steadfastly, they blamed and continue to blame everything and everyone BUT this muslim murderer and cowardly terrorist for the senseless serial murders. Sally Quinn, liberal journalist for the Washington Post, (surprise,a liberal newspaper) appeared on various shows REFUSING to admit that it was a terrorist act. A (conservative, of course) interviewer asked her if Hasan had to strap on a bomb and blow himself up, or fly a plane into that center to be considered a "terrorist" and she disregarded the question, instead continuedly calling for the Army and the FBI to be investigated. Really, Ms.Quinn? REALLY? Do you think we, the American public, are THAT STUPID that we would buy this overt and insulting liberal spin? How about you, Evan Thomas? Do you honestly have the NERVE to appear on national tv, bemoaning the fact that this guy was coincidentally muslim because it will provide grist for the Republican mill? How do you have that time, sir, to shoot your mouth off so prolifically while you SIMULTANEOUSLY drive your once respected magazine (Newsweek) off a cliff into the deep chasm of total irrelevance? You are pathetic, sir. Studies have proved that 85% of the major network coverage DID NOT USE THE WORD "TERRORIST" or "TERRORISM" in the aftermath of this attack on American soil. REALLY, ABC, NBC, CNN AND CBS? Really? Do you all truly believe that we are just fools who (as our President so famously said last year), "cling to our guns and religion" and are too stupid to figure out on our own (because you sure aren't telling us the truth) that a Mulsim jihadist attacked us on our own soil?

Well, listen up, liberal media elites. Spin the healthcare "reform" bill all you want. With a sly wink and a smile, vulgarly denigrate conservatives by calling those who went to the UNPRECEDENTED bi-partisan demonstrations against tax & spend liberal politicians over the summer (I count myself as one), as "teabaggers". Continually shuck and jive EVERY flipping story you cover into a story that makes liberals look noble, and conservatives look "Scrooge-like". Do all of that.

BUT HEAR US CLEARLY. Do not DARE to profane the memory of these amazing soldiers, all FIFTY FOUR of them, 14 of which (including a baby in the womb of Francesca Velez) DIED over a week ago. Do not DARE lie about WHY these soldiers died that day, and in a paean to political correctness blame their deaths on the fact that this guy was a victim of PRE - PTSD, a diagnosis that does not even exist, or that he was "crazy". Do not DARE do that. We'll take a lot, us conservative Americans. But we WILL NOT TOLERATE you re-writing the senseless deaths of these military heroes because you people are so ethically diseased and ideologically twisted that you are incapable of admitting that TERRORISM is occurring in America today, and that MUSLIM JIHADISTS make killing defenseless American citizens a "cause celebre".

We may not stand up for ourselves...we may remain ignorant to the machinations and plots and schemes of politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle, but we DRAW THE LINE clearly at liberal media whiners and apologists assiduously avoiding the TRUTH that Major Nidal Hasan was a terrorist who killed soldiers SOLELY to wage jihad on this country and our military. There are families, little boys and girls, wives and husbands, mothers and fathers waking up today and tomorrow and the day after without their precious loved ones. These same people have to labor to breathe in and out, living the REST OF THEIR LIVES, knowing that they will never see their loved ones again. They join the thousands upon thousands of people who STILL wake up 8 years after 9/11, missing their hearts and knowing exactly what happened. The families of the Ft.Hood soldiers and the families of the 9/11 victims all know why they lost their families. It was because we have an enemy, who hates us, calls us "The Great Satan", who will do anything up to and including blow THEMSELVES up to kill us all. Liberal media elites? If you don't think people like me, conservative that I am, deserve the truth, than take a long hard look at these families. They DO deserve the truth to be spoken OUT LOUD. And you better start now.
