Sarah Palin: Newsweek

I saw this cover for the first time a few hours ago on Hannity, and my heart sunk. It was presented to the Great American Panel, out of context and left the viewers to think Palin posed strictly for the Newsweek cover, dressed in running shorts, with an American Flag arrayed behind her. It ALMOST looked photoshopped, like somebody who really had it in for Sarah Palin (gee, who could that be???)
THEN it came out in a later segment with Dana Perino that this picture was posed for RUNNER’S WORLD, and NEWSWEEK just took it and used it for their cover because it suited the way they wanted to promulgate Palin’s image.
And now we see Palin’s response to this sleight of hand by NEWSWEEK, but it’s nowhere near strong enough, in my view.
I hope this teaches her she doesn’t have to play ball with people who are out to discredit her. There’s no upside to it.

Sorry, but you could not be more correct.

The media has lost all sense of fairness and objectivity.

Sarah, and any other conservative worth their salt, have no course except to fight back continually.

The press is not going to give a real conservative a break, and especially any conservative who resonates with the base.

This is the new reality and until and if we can gain control of a major media outlet like CBS, ABC or NBC or the AP, Sarah's approach is the only approach.

Otherwise, whether you realize it or not, you will let the media give you milk-toast republicans, or RINOs for your candidates.

So man up, and fight back.

We now know our enemy, the media, and this is war.

Fight back!
