Ive been watching with great interest as of late the amount of hate stories written about Governor Palin. Oh yes, we are a country that loves our drama. And we are certainly a country that can, at times, be accused of going to extremes. But one thing is certain about our Palin Hate Affair the biggest winner will be: Sarah Palin.
With Palins public re-emergence today on Oprah, the medias Palin Hate Affair got fully underway. Sarah is, amongst other things, a cancer of the GOP, dumb, and heck, even fodder for a musical. Newsweek sees nothing wrong with using a picture from Runners World for their cover story. MSNBC is well, being MBNBC, and showing their inner-misogynist so familiar to us from 2008.
And somehow the extremism of the Palin Hate Affair reminds me of another recent political extreme: the medias love affair with candidate and then President Obama. The problem for Obama, as I recently wrote at The Daily Beast, is that all great love affairs come to an end. And quite inadvertently, our media set up Obama for an epic fall from grace. How could Obama possibly live up to branding image that our media was so willing to propagate? Simply impossible.

Like I said from the beginning, all this hate and these personal attacks on her have helped to make her even more popular. People can relate to her and it’s all thanks to the Liberal media. Thanks Liberals.
People are beginning to realize they were sold a bill of goods concerning Obama, so naturally they are reassessing what they were led to believe about Sarah Palin, whose image was “sold” to them by the same leftist media.
Sarah on Oprah today.
Check your local listings.
Guess that's what is making her News.
Sarah has true charisma, generated from within, and anything which draws attention to her, no matter how mean-spirited and ethically malignant, will only amplify it. Reagan had the same quality--remember "the teflon president?"
Sarah may or may not be the new Reagan but he is a lesson for those who think the media can beat anybody. He took them to the cleaners and made it look easy.
Watching Sarah now... Oprah is just so full of her love for Obama, I don’t think she can even pretend to be glad that Sarah is on her stage! OH, I forgot.... RATINGS!!!!!!!
“...Oprah is just so full of her love for Obama, I dont think she can even pretend to be glad that Sarah is on her stage!...”
All Oprah has to do is ask Sarah Palin about Anwar, hunting and aerial wolf hunts and poor Sarah will toast in the minds who put caribou and wolves over the lives of the unborn. I know a gal who laid down on a table and killed her unborn child and was almost apoplectic over learning about the aerial wolf hunts (thanks to Defenders of Wildlife Magazine).
Just as I was reading this, Michael Medved was on the radio badmouthing Sarah. I used to think he articulated the Conservative viewpoint, but no more. He’s moving further to the Left every month. How come Sarah is so unqualified after having been a mayor and governor, but an unknown community organizer is more qualified than her? Medved is going to be a real problem if she does run for president. With “Republican” friends like him, she doesn’t need enemies.
On zero..... when you are a pathological liar you consistantly have to cover for those lies until the leve breaks. In this day and age of technology , internet, utube, cell phone video and alike it is incredably difficult, to almost impossible, to cover your tracks, as he is finding out everyday. The truth will set you free and with your poor math skills with healthcare, stimulouss, national debt, cash for klunkers, buy outs, and bailouts this is a 4 letter word for you
But the beauty of the Sarah is she doesn’t need the Republicans...they need her. She is winning the middle; the sane Democrats; conservative Republicans; and the Independents.
Check out my new tag line...quoting Sarah’s dad.
Bubba didn’t have an ecnomy tanking like it is now
Bubba aint Obama either
Don’t matter MSM will still love him
Opie did okay; I thought it was a pretty good interview.
No gotchas; no snide remarks.
Respectful.
And Sarah handled herself well, too.
That's what happens when you don't go to the right schools, have a real job, actually raise your own kids, and go to church every week.
