Nothing unexpected with that outcome. My favorite game yesterday was watching Stanford destroy USC while the announcers were fretting over all of Petey Carroll’s streaks being broken by the result of that game. LOL!
Everyone knows that Texas will piss it down their leg in a meaningful game. Always have, always will (yeah, yeah, Vince Young spared them another embarrassment in the Rose Bowl). So, the market (BCS) has already taken their “we-have-the-ability-but-not-the hearts-of a champion” history into account, and #3 seems about right. Especially in the Mack Brown era.
Texas is a darn good team. Granted the Big-12 this year is really the Big 1 plus 11 but that is not Texas’ fault. I hope my Gators have a chance to play them in Pasadena. Would be a great game.
I lived in Austin for 7 years in the ‘90’s. Both my daughters were born there. As liberal as Austin and UT are the ONLY reason I’d like to have seen Baylor win is it’s conservative roots.
Do you also "piss down your leg" when you're challenged?
