Where will they be kept prior to the trial?

Will they be given/denied privileges available/not available to other Federal prisoners such as special foods, religious facilities or conjugal visitations by goats?

How can a judge treat them equally as other federal prisoners.

Will they be tried separately or together?

So many questions; but I sure that these geniuses thought this through thoroughly. /sarc

I would say they are screwed and will ultimately prevail in a case for damages. /s

The best part of your reply is:

“Will they be tried separately or together?”

They will be tried together. This will ensure they are acquitted. A jury will need to convict all beyond a reasonable doubt.
