Maybe not, but he did advise Bush and McCain to go along with TARP...... and before anyone denies it he admitted it on CNN Wolfe Blitzer’s show.

I still can't figure out why Bush started it in the first place. Near as I can tell it was to keep the toxic economy stuff from getting all over McCain at the end of the election. I would have thought that this was the time for McCain to stand up in the Senate and denounce it for the mess that it was.
Unless of course there was something good in that mess that went awry - and I can't see it. Then again I couldn't figure out the positions on illegal immigration either.
