Quite right. The real message he just sent to the Japanese, who aren't oblivious to political gamesmanship, is that 0ba-Mao looks upon their Emperor as nothing more than a convenient stage prop for points in a domestic image issue.
I am doing just that, eyedigress. I couldn't be more pleased with how he is navigating the horrors of middle-school and being an honor roll student (mom brag). He studies WWII on his own because it is one of his main interests. We've been attending Veteran's Day and Memorial Day ceremonies since he's been able to walk. It hurts my heart sometimes that I have to help him navigate through these tough times when I think of how easy it seemed when I was growing up. I do have a perspective on history, but with 0bama, it just seems more sinister.
