Well, nice pedigree. You’re not alone in that regard, though. I could reel off a list that goes straight back to Jamestown and 1619, if I cared to do so, or Maryland in the 1630’s. Every one of my lines has been in NC since before the Revolution, and many fought in that war.
But, that’s not really material to the discussion, is it? Unless, that is, you actually want to talk genealogy, or the colonial era, in which case I’d likely enjoy the discussion.
So, you can lay that to rest for now.
Being in favor of every war, for whatever reason or no reason at all, does not necessarily follow having fought in a war, though, especially for those who actually are doing the fighting.
There are limits upon how war is declared and pursued, and that is not just prudent, it’s required under our Constitution, the very same Constitution that our military are sworn to uphold.
That is as it should be. And, if you’d only recognize this, we’d have no argument. You’d perhaps steer clear of attacking a consistent, small-government conservative from Texas, who has served my and your country well for decades, too. You should be ashamed.
*who has served my and your country well for decades, too. You should be ashamed.*
Ron Paul would have made a great assistant to Joseph Goebbels. Their views and spin so much alike.
I would be ashamed if I supported Paul, this contemptible
delusional being.
