I supported Doug Hoffman in the New York 23rd to send a message to the Republican leadership that the Tea Party movement cannot be ignored. My message: Stop supporting RINOs over solid conservatives. I understand a similar situation is brewing in a California Senate race, but I know little about it. What I do know is that a major confrontation exists right now in the Senate Republican race between Governor Crist, a very liberal RINO who strongly supported Obamas programs and former speaker of the Florida House, Marco Rubio, an unabashed conservative.
Crist enraged me on his first day in office when he issued orders giving convicted felons the vote and committing Florida taxpayers to support senseless programs to combat man-made global warming.

Excellent article! Russ hits the nail on the head!
What is the guy’s point?
Crist is a RINO who is lying about supporting Obama on many issues.
Also, it seems that the guy is just honked-off about his condo costs rising.
Yup!
At least this time the voters in Florida will vote for who they want. That was the major problem with New York...they did not chose.
I lived in Florida up until a year ago and suddenly this Crist character is the GOP candidate for governor...Just like McCain came out of the woodwork to become a GOP candidate for president. Clearly, the GOP establishment is out of touch with the rank & file and needs a purge.
A pity Republicans can’t have a “Purge Committee” that would kick out of the GOP anyone who doesn’t accept party discipline.
No wonder so many voters are independents.
