Looking back, the very second Sarah Palin stepped onto the national stage Barack Obama and the democrat/communist party ceased to care about beating John McCain and went into full panic mode, followed by hyper attack mode, a mode that they are still in to this day!
But the author omitted one episode; the furious Divide & Conquer "McCain staffers are attacking Palin" scam launched by Obama/Soros 3 days after the election.

Remember how John McCain was treated by a fawning media before he became the candidate, only to be attacked unmercifully by the same media once he had the nomination? Well, if Sarah was the “joke” they claim she is that is the sort of treatment she would get.
I really couldn't care less about Palin's ability to deal with Couric's sophistry. Couric, Gibson and their ilk are obsolete and fading. They have nothing of substance to offer to the discussion. Using them as gatekeepers for our candidates is absurd.
