I never liked Jules Feiffer’s writing or cartoons. He himself is pretty hard left. I wonder if he suffers from cognitive dissonance the way Orwell must have.

The entire family is/was twisted. One of Feiffer's cousins was Joe McCarthy's side-kick Roy Cohen. Another cousin? Dick Morris. Dick got his start in the 60s with Jerrold Nadler and Eugene McCarthy. Feiffer, in the 60s, was ragging on white liberals for being more interested in the sexual revolution (which he despised) than the civil rights movement. Jules also despised Bob Dylan.
