Actually I did not write the article. It came from a series that ran in the El Paso Times, many years ago.
I loved the series and kept several of the articles. There is another that I have not been able to find. Suspect I still have it, but have not found the right box it is in. That article dealt with 3 cases in history when a few changed the course of history of many for a long time. The two events that I can remember from the article were the 300 Spartans vs the Persians and the Battle of San Jacinto.
There are a lot of things that happened along with San Jacinto that are not taught in public schools, but were non the less important. Such is history. Since time immoral.
is it in Deaf Smith County or is that someplace else?
