Iowa's own 5th District Congressman Steve King absolutely demolished NFL commissioner Roger Goodell today

Total destruction - one of the best things I’ve seen in quite a while.

Goodell did not apologize, had no intent to apologize and understood completely the chastening he was given. There is such profound animosity in the media and lingering in Goodell's mind (George Soros influenced) that any profanity, derogatory or racist comments by Fergie or J-Lo appear totally acceptable as long as they are the correct political persuasion. He danced around the question, and appeared IMHO adamant to never take responsibility for his comments about Limbaugh. I do hope Goodell is put upon the grill once again and pressed for his response. He skates with attacking Limbaugh unless he apologizes.

He is a very good friend of mine and once I asked him if he was getting enough rest as I see him on CSPAN late at night and then FOX the next am.

He's articulate on any subject and can remember all statistics he's ever heard. He is truly amazing.

My preferred headline:

That will do. After this, those facing the committee may be a little fearful and respectful knowing what may be coming and Steve does it without being mean. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2367770/posts

You’re right. He is the best we’ve got.

It would be a fun battle to watch, but I’m not sure King could unseat Harkin.

He’s too important where he’s at. No need to risk that seat for something that might not be possible.

Lucky you.

I see that his opponents have been busy editing his Wikipedia page. Good, that means he is effective.

He chose not to run for governor because he thought it more important to remain where he is.

He's highly respected and I do believe he probably would have won the primary but the general is another matter.

The thing about Steve is that he is very wise--he does nothing impulsively. He's never lost an election. The first time he won, he took on an incumbent state senator in a primary.

Isn’t Serena Williams part owner of the dolphins as well? She threatened a judge at the US Open!

I wish he had asked, how could the Miami Dolphins owners be approved after using the N word in public?

King sure nailed him. It is great to see a GOP Congressman stand up to PC. Goodell showed himself to be the weasle he clearly is.

He is not in my district but I was really hoping he would run for statewide office so I would have a chance to vote for him.

That was tremendous. Isn't Goodell married to Jane Skinner of Fox New Channel?

I don't think we'll see Roger coming out of hiding in the near future to comment on much of anything.

Condeleza Rice would be a hundredfold better NFL commissioner than the current light weight they have been saddled with.
