What part of Florida is the th district? How’d he get elected? Is there a chance a sane conservative can win his seat in 2010?

The 8th is made of 4 counties, of which Orange (the Orlando area) is the largest. The Republican incumbent he beat in 2008 (Ric Keller) won three out of the four counties, but ACORN really got voter registration bumped up in Orange and you see the result. It’s traditionally a Republican-leaning district, though. Keller hurt himself when he reneged on a voluntary term limits pledge he’d made and the voters soured on him. Grayson only won 52 to 48 percent.

I think he’s vulnerable to a quality Republican/conservative candidate, for sure.

He represents those seniors in Orlando with dementia. They voted in one of their own...
