Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) on Sunday offered one of the strongest hints yet that he will run for the nation's highest office in 2012.
Gingrich said that he will begin seriously considering the possibility in about 15 months.
"Callista and I are going to think about this in February 2011. And we are going to reach out to all of our friends around the country," he said on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" this morning. "We'll decide, if there's a requirement as citizens that we run, I suspect we probably will. And if there's not a requirement, if other people have filled the vacuum, I suspect we won't."
Many political observers have tabbed former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) as a presidential hopeful in past election cycles. Critics say that the leader of the 1994 Republican Revolution will not run because of his tumultuous personal life; he has been married three times and engaged in an extramarital affair during Bill Clinton's impeachment.

From your 74:
My point is that we should support our preferred candidates, and not slime the rest.
Funny, the RNC DC gang is sliming Hoffman, an actual conservative. Seems to me they want to wage war with conservatives and are speaking with their money. Seems to me you need to decide who you are standing with here.

"The real opposition is the cabal of political elitists who care naught for the Constitution and for the American way of life, who treat United States citizens as naught but votes and sources of funding, and who would willingly and gladly destroy the United States by ceding her God-given sovereignty to others in exchange for thirty pieces of silver."Yes, all true.
Thing is using the metaphor, God/ God-given is most ironic given the fact one'll never meet a more godless bunch who recognize not good nor the concept of God unless it's *money* & the power money brings.
Don't claim to understand the hell bent lust, just recognize it when I see it "in action". LOL
In any event there remains one more layer yet above the, "cabal of political elitists" my friend.
The, "cabal of political elitists" had *&* have no hope --whatsoever-- of ever becoming a political elitist without not only the full funding of the next level; but, more importantly their full Blessing.
"Bingo", indeed... :^)

I dont hate blacks. The day I said segregation forever, I never said a thing that would upset a black person unless it was [the word] segregation. I never made fun of em about inequality and all that kind of stuff. But my vehemence was against the federal government folks. I didnt make people get mad against black people. I made em get mad against the courts.George Wallace
I should have read more closelydo you really think this quote supports your point?
I doubt that you have enough neurons to even comprehend the point. When I stated that I worked as a volunteer for the Wallace-LeMay campaign in '68, you immediately ran the 'bigot' word up the flagpole, which is a very liberal tactic by the way, and of course you had to toss in the irrelevant sneers about buses, lunch counters, etc., which only put your own ignorance on display, as I said: you know nothing about the campaign nor the issues that were predominant in that '68 election cycle, that's why you just start slinging around words like "bigots", "buses", "lunch counters", etc., because you have no other way to respond.
So who did YOU support and vote for in 1968?

I don’t disagree. My point is broader—it was just brought up on a thread about Newt.

I’d rather have fire ants shoved up my urethra than vote for that RINO son-of-a-b*tch.
