White House vs. Fox News: Blundering

As the war between the White House and Fox News escalates, it might be insightful to take a look back and see the path which led to Thursday’s attempt by the White House to completely shut off Fox News.

The first skirmish was back in August, when people were complaining about having received unwanted emails from the White House...

I have mixed emotions about this. Bush’s silence about the 8 years of lies and distortions from the lamestream media got him 34% approval and blame for everything including causing hurricanes to kill black people.

They may just pull this off if the other media continues to carry his water.

OTOH...it very well may backfire. I for one watch Fox more now. :)

It first started in the Democrat primaries when John Edwards declared that he would not appear on any debates hosted by Fox, and candidate Obama was the first person to join Edwards in the ban.

Yes, but Obama ultimately DID go on Fox to be interviewed by O’Reilly (and of course The One made sure it was scheduled to conflict with coverage of the Republican Convention. Classy.)
