I think a grain of salt is appropriate here. I would give this story at best a 1/3 chance of being valid. This decision would have come yesterday at the latest and it is hard for me to believe that the vast resources of Free Republic would not have turned up the story much sooner and from a much more reliable source if the story is actually true.
So I have my fingers crossed hoping that it's true but it will take more than this blog to convince me.
