Congressman John Murtha reminds me of Big Julie in play Guys and Dolls, who boasts: I got a poifect record: thoity-three arrests, no convictions.
Months ago, the FBI raided the offices of the PMA group. What they found suggested that Murtha and his buddies at the PMA Group operated their own little Earmark Factory.
But that was just the tip of the iceberg, another one of John Murtha's most favorite contractors was charged for taking $200,000 in kickbacks, the FBI is Investigating Multi-Billion-Dollar Murtha favored Defense Contractor With Tax-Exempt Status, Murtha has even gotten family into the earmark business, and on and on. The fact is the Congressman from Pennsylvania has been closely aligned with many illegal operations.
The latest news on the Porker-in-Chief involves MobilVox, a software firm that wanted to get into the defense industry so it opened an office in Murtha's district, started giving campaign donations to Congressmen Murtha and Moran...and low and behold the two congressmen started sending earmarks its way. Coincidence? I think not:

I am embarassed to be from Pennsylvania.......I guess it could be worse, I could be from Murtha’s district!
Murtha is as corrupt as they come. Brother-in-laws involved in getting earmarks, strong-arming companies to relocate in Johnstown that get earmarks, biggest waste of an airport in the country. Sickening. The whole city of Johnstown is just one big earmark, and the voters know that. The only way to remove Murtha from office is in handcuffs. Murtha can say any stupid thing he wants and still get re-elected.
But I'll bet it's a career ender to even discuss .gov corruption.
Think of Lt. Col. G. A. Custer ;^)
no one will care
I don’t think there is a town that comes anywhere close to the amount of political corruption and number of earmarks as Johnstown gets.
murtha, is not worth spiting on, yet he finds a way to do it to us all every day!
