Whoever this clown is, he’ll be forgotten in a few years. The list of Nobel Literature winners is, for the most part, not exactly distinguished.

The list of non-winners (Tolstoy, Mark Twain, Chekhov, Ibsen, Zola, Henry James, etc.) stands in contrast to nonentity Nobel laureates like Salvatore Quasimodo, Halldor Laxness, and Frans Silanpaa.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was a very worthy and deserving winner, back in the early/mid seventies. I cannot think of too many since who I consider meritorious enough...Gabriel Garcia Marquez (100 years of Solitude) was skillful, but quite on the left!
