If it is like most corporations, you could get a say in how the company is run by buying a block of shares. But then if you owned the company you wouldn't want to put up with any Michael Moore style anticapitalist crap.
Nothing is more American than democracy,
Well, freedom is. If I had to choose between being free under a government I had no say in, and being a slave to whoever happened to get 50.1% of the vote I would choose being free.
Another way to Americanize your workplace is to turn your business into a worker-owned cooperative. You are not a wage slave. You are a free person, and you giving up eight hours of your life every day to someone else is to be properly compensated and respected.
That's called a paycheck. If you don't like the numbers on it then find somewhere else. If no one wants to pay you what you think you are worth, then maybe no one wants to hire you just for your inflated self esteem. Form your own company and run it however you want... but don't be too surprised when your customers try to treat you the same way your old boss did.
And I repeat this for anyone who uses the self-contradictory phrase "wage slave":
The rotter who simpers that he sees no difference between the power of the dollar and the power of the whip, ought to learn the difference on his own hide-- as, I think, he will. - Francisco d'Anconia in Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.
Interesting post. Watch for the phrase Medicare for everyone - I think you’ll be hearing that phrase a lot.
I wonder if he’s going to do like nobama and hand out Michael Moore money to the poor. Then he can be “just like them” and not worry about declaring jihad on capitalism.
Beck needs to task his team with some deep investigating of Mr. Moore.
