You know, you’re absolutely right . . . I got it backwards. The noble and pure Northerners were the ones because they were afraid that the Negroes would overwhelm the total citizen count from the South. It was not a “slave holders” state item. Thanks for the correction. It shows the hypocrisy of the left when they crow about their love for the Negro.
