Yesterday a woman posted on FaceBook an idea to show opposition to government takeover by flying the American flag upside down as a symbol of distress. While I liked her enthusiasm, it concerns me that this may be misinterpreted as disrespectful to our flag. My mom had an alternative idea that I thought bares mentioning.
Tie a red, white, and blue ribbon around a tree or mailbox … or wherever you can on your property to oppose our present government. We are going to attempt to contact Glenn Beck and other media sources about this effort. We need your help to spread the word! Let’s Take Back America!!!
Opposition to Government Takeover Display
I’ve been displaying a Don’t Tread on Me flag as a symbol of protest.
as have i. i will replace it with a new one soon. current one, the red striped flag, is faded and torn, much like the cureent administration’s foreign policy.
