Well wait a minute. Let’s look at what the article says. “Hidden .. offshore bank accounts..” Well — do you own any stocks or mutual funds? Then you own “offshore” assets, even investing in the S&P 500. I keep my bank account hidden, or at least hope the bank does, know what I’m sayin’?

So what they are talking about is people not paying taxes, due the US, ? Well that’s something entirely different to my way of thinking. In theory, if you had a 100 million, is it not your right to invest and distribute your money whenever and wherever you like? After all, the US has attracted investment money for a long time. And if you live here, you have to convert your investments at some point anyway, or heirs.
