Great letter, DC. It is exactly what millions and millions of Americans want to say to the feral dogs in DC.
I’m sending it out to everyone I know, with the request that they send it to their elected reps, and everyone in their address books.

Not necessary, DC. I already made a Word doc out of it.
Thanks

Tyrants once empowered will not be shaken off with mere words. The time for making eloquent demands is behind us. Summon the will to fight and let loose the dogs of war for nothing less will remove the boot from our neck.

No, not so. But every knee shall bow to THE Man. The ONE Man (and it AIN’T Obambi!)

You have to give them a warning shot across the bows. It’s written somewhere. This C&D Order is that warning shot. For some it WILL be a sufficient wakeup call; for the rest...??? Besides, AT THIS MOMENT they are still only TRYING to entrench. However, there’s just a very narrow window of opportunity here...

...It's not nice to bring God, or His rules into this, ya know, that pesky church and state thing, that appears NO WHERE in the Constitution, Bill of Rights, or Declaration of Independence. Uppp, I forgot the rule of political correctness manifesto. Sorry. I guess the rule of manifesto, and the rule of executive privilege trumps anything else, including the rule of congress to be above the rule of law...
...Disclaimer, This of course is purely satire, and should be taken as such...

I'm with dcw. FedGov does indeed create and enforce against almost every type of crime, but in almost all cases they are usurping powers rightly belonging to the states.

Can we just fire them all and start over?I believe the infestation is too great. The best option at this point is a small tactical nuke deployed during the state of the union address.

I concur that the Feds have probably overstepped the authority of the States on too many an occasion, but asserting the absolute premise that Federal government should have no jurisdiction over crimes other than counterfeiting, treason and piracy is just an extremist position. (Also not very realistic.)

Why, exactly, should the federal government have any more jurisdiction than the Constitution authorizes? (And if you think it “extremist,” recall that THIS IS WHAT THE FOUNDERS DECIDED, not me.)

That IS a serious and honest inquiry. Why SHOULD the Federal Government have one whit more authority than the Founders intended? What can they do BETTER than the Several States in combating crime, etc.? Further, why should they, without a specific amendment to the Constitution, be allowed to slip the bonds prescribed therein? That is how we have arrived at the situation we face today.
Your response will be as appreciated as it should be enlightening. Thanks in advance.
