The picture looks like a 64 Impala. My brother bought a used Impala convertible in December and we drove it down the main street of our town with the top down as it snowed.
The car had a two barrel carburetor. My brother, the jinx of the auto world, bought a used carburetor and manifold from a bone yard and installed it backwards on his engine.
When he fired up the car it pumped a mixture of antifreeze and oil, (poop) out the tail pipe. I'll never forget the look on his face.
The other thing my brother did was buy a 62 Chevy,(a smaller car I don't remember the model name anymore),with a 3 on the tree. He bought a floor shift for it and installed that backwards too. This was the car he traded in on the Impala. He had the deal all negotiated until the lot boy went to move the car, at which point the dealer insisted on renegotiating the deal.
