I want the GOP to take back the House and Senate in 2010 and the White House in 2012 and am against anything that could possibly stop or hinder that.I want conservatives to take back Congress and the White House.
The problem with handing control of the Federal government back to the Republican Party is that the American electorate already had six years of rampant spending, nation-building, and expansion of government under Bush and a Republican Congress.
If the Republicans want power back, they better show that they're actually worthy of being granted power rather than acting like they're entitled to it, simply because they're not the Democrats.

I couldn't put it better. You know the ‘vote Republican because they are not democrats’ strategy was tried last fall and 2006 by McCain, Hannity and Levin and it didn't go well. What do you think republicans would pass as laws that makes you want them have power so bad? (to Victory Rocks)
Since republicans have shown no improvements since last year (except GWB gone), I would be happy with republicans holding about 48% of seats in each house, so they can block democrat bills without getting the blame.

I don’t think the following will work too well :
” Yes, I’m for”comprehensive immigration reform” amnesty with chain migration), and maybe cap n trade, but I’m not a Democrat”
