I don’t know if you voted for Barr.
All I know is that every single one of your posts is in irrational defense of the Kenyan.
And I don't know if you voted at all. So we're even.
All I know is that every single one of your posts is in irrational defense of the Kenyan.
Funny, then, that I never post to defend any of his policies or his political decisions. It's almost as if my only 'defense' of Obama is in rebutting silly conspiracy theories.
And it's conspiracy theories that are irrational. Claims of worldwide secrets and cover-ups and whatnot. What I deal in is reason, and conservatism *is* reason. Liberalism deals in feelings. Seeing conservatism undermined by bogus claims of Presidential illegitimacy is not in the best interests of conservatism or the U.S. It gives liberals the opportunity to lump Birthers and "Tenthers" (their word, not mine) together, as if it's ridiculous and irrational to believe that the Tenth Amendment serves as a limitation on the federal government. Birtherism serves only to provide fodder for those who want to dismiss conservatism as a serious, viable political philosophy.
So no, I'm not out in defense of Obama. I do what I do in defense of reason, of rationality, and of the future of conservatism.
