These are the headlines from the Front page of this newspaper on that date, so it matches up with the article. If the article was bogus, then the front page would have to be bogus too. It doesn’t look like it is bogus in any way.
And for the naysayers, if you keep insisting that ONE birth announcement in the state where the GRANDPARENTS resided is PROOF that omambo was born there, then aren’t you being a bit disingenuous when you keep insisting that not one, but MANY articles in DIFFERENT newspapers are ALL bogus?
I mean, honest to GOD. ONE birth announcement that could have been placed by Grammy as opposed to MANY articles which state something quite different?
It takes a heap and a hunk o’burnin’ love to keep insisting that a birth announcement is any proof of anything in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
Saved it.
I have to agree on that point. Most community newspapers will allow residents to publish birth and death announcements of those who live in the area or are relatives of someone living the community. I see obituaries and birth announcments quite frequently of people who are not even living in the area but have some kind of link to the community; either through previous residency or family members.
