Here is video of Bill O'Reilly talking with Alan Colmes and Monica Crowley about the White House's attack on Fox News.
Bill O'Reilly said "Colmes from the very beginning of this network has been a voice of liberal fervor." Colmes responded by saying "well lets face it, I'm no longer co-host of that show I used to do."
Monica Crowley said that "it is an abuse of power, when you are President of the United States, to use the White House to single out a single news organization, and castigate them and try to delegitimize them." (Video)

Colmes was aggravating because after a few years it seemed like he didn’t even believe the BS he was spewing anymore.
Reading Marxist talking points can get to even a committed Liberal.

Colmes had to espouse the liberal line even though he knows that Obama’s attack on the press looks Nixonian. He seemed very uncomfortable in trying to defend the WH actions against Fox News. As for his comment about no longer being co-host with Hannity, he could easily move to MSNBC or even CNN and have his own show with top billing, but he knows that no one would be watching him on those networks.
The White House is condemning FNC just mere days after David Axelrod met with Roger Ailes to voice his displeasure at the less-than-complimentary treatment The One has received. I gather from the WH statements, Ailes didn’t buckle to Axelrod’s attempts to intimidate him.

Colmes was weak last night, O’Reilly’s exchange with Juan Williams the night before much better. And really, they are not the people to ask about this charge that Fox is an arm of the GOP, someone needs to ask Julian Epstein (Clinton Admin), Bob Beckel (Mondale’s campaign manager) and Geraldine Ferraro (1984 Dem candidate for VP) how they feel about being tools of the Republican party.
She looks great incredible for a woman of 59.
Morgan was a decent actress when she played Jenna Wade on Dallas back some 30+ years ago. I can't say I've seen her do much else since.
Colmes problem is the same problem as every liberal talking head. They are forced to parrot the liberal line even when they know its completely idiotic and laughable.
Colmes fortunately did break with the left over Bubba’s apology and called it effectively a joke and lash out. Far too often though he would parrot whatever the lib line of the day was even when it was obvious he didn’t believe it himself.
Jaun Williams suffers from the same thing, when he’s honest about where he stands whether you agree with his point or not doesn’t matter, but far too often he makes arguements that are simply talking points from the left that you know watching him deliver them he doesn’t believe.

I noticed that as time went on Colmes seemed less and less willing to toe the party line on some issues. Even he has some sense of shame. But these people keep putting on this charade because they are getting paid good money to do so. And knowing all along that there are complete idiots out there that hang on their every syllable. It’s really time for all the fake liberals to come clean. There’s room for you fake libs in the conservative movement. Join us!
I agree, as I stated its the problem with all lib talking heads, and some conservatives as well. Though conservative principles are usually heartfelt so even if someone is clearly parroting, and not offering much original thought or analysis, but parroting the conservative line, the underlying principle is believed by the person delivering it.
For the hard core liberal left, there is no real underlying principle, they aren’t really for things as they are AGAINST things. They know what they are against, but not neccessarily what they are for, as such they react against things without having a real reason for it, and can’t logically justify it. But it doesn’t matter, thats what the hard left does. So as the left talking head you are paid to tout a line you have no belief in, and it shows.
Think Roman Polanski right now, the radical left is demanding he be let off.. Now what sane rational thinking person says you can dope up a 13 year old girl, forcibly rape and sodomize her and its no big deal? No one with a functioning frontal cortex can logically make that argument, regardless of political affiliation, yet the left demands this.
A liberal pundent is not a place to be, they aren’t conservatives, but if they have brains and use them they can’t carry the party line believably, because the line demands logic and reason be ignored far too often for their political advantage.
