I don’t see any advantage for allowing herself to remain a Republican. At least she’d have to run against her fellow dems in the primary and the GOP could have higher quality candidates to run against her or the dem that defeats her.
They also better stop any dems from voting in Republican primaries if that’s going on in Maine.
She’s not going anywhere; she’ll be re-elected because Maine residents will continue to vote for her. Unfortunately, a Senator who represents a small state like Maine has way too much power which affects all of us.
I just wish she’d switch parties and be done with it.

We really don't have much of a choice. Maine (and NH) have been overrun with "Massholes;" we really don't have much of a choice. Any true conservative has no chance of winning, with ALL the media and newspapers in the tank for liberal policies and politicians. There is no choice.
What we're left with is a RINO, or a young Ted Kennedy or Jay Rockefeller. I'll take the RINO, who I agree with 50% of the time, than a Socialist with whom I agree with 1%.
Keep in mind that the most important vote is their first; Harry Reid or Jim Demint. Snowe and Collins vote for Demint, and they always vote for stong military presence.
Sorry, I don't have to like it, but that's the way it is.
