The Nobel Committee's cluelessness is magnified when you compare their winner, Obama, to someone like Neda. Obama is unable to recognize Iran as a despotic regime that kills its own people for speaking out. Neda recognized it as exactly that. Obama did nothing about it. Neda paid with her life. Maybe if Obama had done something to stop Iran from crushing the protests, he would have been deserving of the prize. And Neda would still be alive.

My thoughts exactly! The world (UN) could not do anything but send a letter of complaint while the Mullahs killed, imprisoned, and raped their own people who were protesting a stolen election. The newest “Nobel Prize’ winner took a WEEK before he reponded, and first said he was troubled by what was going on.
The Nobel Peace Prize has lost all credibility with everyone in the world but the leftist elites who drank the Obama Kool-Aid

If there is anyone in Iran who should get an award its the guy who sentenced to death for “initiating’ the (pro-democracy) protests against Ahmadinejad.
All those great pro democracy chants of “Death to the Dictators!”, “Down with Russia!” have been silenced for now.
With their government choosing their nuclear ambitions it may well be the last we hear from these people.
Too bad the nominations had to be in February. How about next year, Oslo? Do you have the guts to make a real statement with the Peace Prize?

George Bush did more to create peace in NYC than Obama ever will.
If it wasn’t for Bush we would’ve had further attacks on our country.
