Here ya go. She’s made a few references to ACORN and corruption, the last one as a coda to one of yesterday’s postings: http://www.facebook.com/sarahpalin?v=app_2347471856&viewas=0

Does Sarah have handlers? I don’t think so, if so, who are they? Personally, I think her strategy is one of her own making, totally outside the box and one that has the “elites” totally confounded. I am willing to trust her judgment, she has a successful, winning track record.

As far as the corruption angle, how can she fight the corruption other than point it out? The only ways I see she can do something about it is by helping like-minded conservatives get elected and becoming president. She did it as governor, so again, she has a track record of winning.

She already has more supporters than anyone else being talked about for the nomination.(and growing) Timing is everything, imo.

That would be one heck of a start!

IMHO, she needs to get in the fight now. Start pointing out the corruption in the government and break it wide open.

That's not her job - she is not a prosecutor or an elected official. The best job she's doing right now is fighting Obama on kitchen table issues such as the economy, energy, and the War. Right now, nobody cares about the corruption or the czars because (A) it's not being reported anyway and (B) it doesn't affect people's day-to-day lives. Palin's doing an excellent job doing what she's doing now.

give me one statement she has made on government corruption.

She has pointed out how the Obama administration is sending billions to Brazil to help them drill their own oil. That's one example of highlighting corruption.

Or anything else for that mater. I think she has made maybe two statement in as many months, one on death panels and one on energy.

Dude, she just released TWO Facebook posts yesterday. She released 3 posts, one an op-ed and the others on Facebook, preempting and responding to Zero. She has single-handedly derailed Obamacare back in August. Where the Hell have you been?

Look I support Sarah but it seems she is more interested in cultivating support rather then engaging in policy. Isn’t that the trade mark of the current ruling party?

Real supporters of Palin trusts her instincts, that's what makes her so exciting. Again, it is not wise for her to talk about corruption, the birth certificate, and all the other sundry, nefarious Obama issues because that does not relate to the average person.

Something else that is very important to me:

Sarah Palin has the respect and support of military people -- officers, enlisted, and the families -- far beyond what other politicians get just based on their title.

I maintain she has done that already, her history in government and her speeches during the campaign.

Good point! The respect of military personnel is essential for solid leadership.

She is already in the fight. By posting her feelings on Twitter... and getting coverage... she is stomping 0bama badly

I would say she should tweet a bit more, and start touring the country espousing WHY the conservative agenda will save America and American families. She should stay away from obvious landmines (like saying all abortions should be stopped). Take a page from the liberals... tell people why your way is better and downplay the controversial stuff. When you’re in office, then make the dicsion to deal with such things... AFTER the other stuff is fixed (then people would be more open to the change)

I would like to see someone set up a PAC for her where we ‘little people’ could start contributing a few dollars at a time, like weekly, so that she has a head start on having a war chest when it comes time for the campaigning to get serious.

If it were set up correctly any money given could be returned if she decided not to run.

I would happily chip in $25 or so a month for the next two years. If enough people did that she would have a considerable jump on the rest of the pack.

It could also be set up so that anytime prior to a certain point a contributor that became disenchanted with her and her run for office could get back a portion of their contributions to date.

Just an idea. The more we can do to make a public spectacle of our support for her the less likely a lot of people would be interested in taking her on, especially if she were well funded.

I know a lot of what we feel for her right now is frustration with a system that has grown to be a threat to our very way of life. A system where many of us feel as though we have no longer have any say-so in the way our country is run. A system that has relegated us to political obscurity. We are ready for someone to come along, as did Ronald Reagan, and use their skills to lead us.

She could well turn out not to be that person, and if that's the case then so be it. But until she has gone off the reservation far enough to change my mind, she's the person for the job!

Going Rogue is also #1 at Borders Books, and #1 in the non-fiction catagory at Books A Million. WalMart is also taking pre-release orders. The book has dropped to #7 at Barnes and Noble, which I suspect is due to Amazon offering it for $2 less, plus Amazon doesn’t charge sales tax. Matter of fact, I don’t know anyone who actually orders books from B&N since there are so many of their stores around, most people just go to the store. I plan on spending some time at B&N on Nov. 17th, just to see how many people are buying the book.

Something tells me that by the end of Oct or early Nov, the publisher will announce that the initial press run of 1.5 million is being increased due to the unexpectedly high pre-release sales.

Oh, wow! Thanks. I'll do that very thing!

I am convinced somehow the Lord knew how frustrated many of us are getting with the way things have been going and decided to give us a bit o’ hope! She might not be it, but for now I'll go for any ol’ port in the storm!

Freed from the specious and endless ethics complaints being filed by a small but well supported group of Democrat activists in Alaska, she can now move about and speak freely about topics local, national, and international. Should she ever gain the White House (she hasn't announced or even hinted about any future political ambitions), she would be far better prepared to fill that office than the present occupant could ever dream of being.

Exactly right.

Great video, btw. Thanks much.
