General McChrystal should resign if and only if he judges that he cannot carry out the orders given to him by the President of the United States with the tools at hand and with the restrictions placed on him by the President. McChrystal is a profoundly talented operator and a good man. I suspect that he will NOT allow political considerations to enter into this, for the good of his command.

Were I the General, I would walk up to the nearest live camera and in front of the world, tell Obama that HE needs to resign or we will lose the war within 3 months.

Not that I think she is a McChrystal supporter, but it infers that the WH is not “listening” to intel (other than bugs from the OIC) or the military in charge.

Hillary could then start her 2012 challenge. Early. And cause even more problems for The Won on more fronts.
