Nice that an AR15 can be adapted to .22LR with ease via an inexpensive compact conversion kit. Add a can and you’ve got pretty quiet options. Not as hushed as a dedicated bolt, but close enough for most work.

Midway has the Ceiner kit on sale for $159.00. It's nice shooting an AR, and having it cost next to nothing...

While I do think it's a good idea for every AR15 to have such a kit, I'm thinking of the clang & bang the bolt makes as it loads a new round.

God forbid the day ever comes I have to shoot Peter Cottontail for something to eat, but in such a scenario, it's possible someone else is just as hungry.
