Please answer - How is your world shaken up if a thread is started, using the same topic, more than once?

My world is not shaken up, I'm just giving my opinion on this one caller just like the rest of you and imo, this a big to do about nothing and doesn't deserve 6 threads on it.

What's the point? If the thread had pertinent information that was valuable to all Freepers then yes, but to have multi-duplicate threads serving no purpose other than to collect a group of fawning and weeping folks affected by some frustrated on edge female caller on a talk show is going way overboard and is overkill. We need solutions and frankly neither Susan's angst or Rush's response to her had any.

Btw duplicate threads are not encouraged on FR, at least the last time I heard and rightfully so. You may like them, but that doesn't mean others do.

As I posted before, the thread I read was the FIRST time I saw it. I appreciate being able to see this thread. If it had not been active on FR when I logged on, I would have missed the whole thing.

Bring on the "fawning and weeping folks affected by some frustrated on edge female caller on a talk show." If that's what it takes to help us formulate "solutions" then I say more threads ... more weeping ... more fawning.

What I never understand is people who complain about multiple threads. Don't open 'em. But don't beat up those of us who DO appreciate multiple threads on a subject because many of us only see ONE of the multiple threads.

As you posted, "You may like them, but that doesn't mean others do."
To which I reply, "You may not like them, but that doesn't mean others don't.
