It's interesting that she was a practicing lawyer before she went to "a greater profession as a full-time mom"[1]. That woman is three years younger than Obama. Yet, she gave what amounted to a speech without hesitation, straight from the heart and without a speech writer and teleprompter. Not very polished, but it's obvious that she is extremely intelligent.
Oh and another odd factoid, Glendale is home to Occidental, Obama's first college.
