My daughter’s guidance counselor admitted this afternoon in a meeting with us that the “regular” curriculum (non-AP) is actually at a remedial level - in other words, the “regular” kids are being taught to the absolute minimal standard. She recommended we keep our kid in AP classes even if she’s struggling, because we don’t want her in with “those” kids. Makes me wanna cry for our future.
